The Crystal Bowl Tournament is a one-day, two-best-ball competition. Entries are open to amateur golfers who are members of a GCWGA member club, and have posted ten (10) scores during 2022 and 2023. There will be two flights, determined by the number of entries (maximum of 88 players).
Handicaps will be adjusted for the slope/rating of the course with a maximum of 36 strokes no matter how high the player's index. as suggested by the USGA for best-ball play events. The handicaps will be played at 85%, as suggested by the USGA for best-ball-stroke play events. Players do not need to be members of the same club.
PRIZES:
Prizes will be awarded for low gross and low net winners. Gross prizes take precedence over net prizes. Only one prize will be awarded per team.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Registration Opens - July 10th, 2023 at 8:00 PM
Registration Closes - July 31st, 2023 at Midnight
Rain Date - August 14th, 2023
ENTRY FEE: $200 per team-- $100 per player
REGISTRATION GUIDELINES:
Each Team Captain must register and pay for the entire team with the following information for each player:
Name
GHIN number and current GHIN Index
Member Club
Handicaps will be used from 8/1/2023
No refunds will be given after July 31st, even if you are unable to play on the rain date.
